About Inneora

Last updated

Inneora (pronounced ih-NEH-oh-ruh) is an independent guide to intimate wellness products for adults. We help you compare before you buy: what a product is made of, what the manufacturer says about it, and what the store you buy it from will (and won’t) do for you.

What we do

  • Compare retailer policies. Warranty length, return windows, shipping costs, discreet packaging, and the name that shows up on your card statement. These details are easy to miss and hard to find in one place.
  • Compare manufacturer specs. Materials, waterproof ratings, charging, run time, size, and warranty, side by side, with a link to where each number came from.
  • Explain where to buy by country. Shipping, returns, and availability differ between the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia. We note what changes.
  • Explain materials and terms. What “body-safe silicone” means, how waterproof ratings work, and which questions to ask before you buy.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t claim to have tested products. Our comparisons are based on published information from manufacturers and retailers, and we say so on every page. When a page includes someone’s personal experience, we tell you exactly who it came from (see our Editorial Policy).
  • We don’t publish explicit content. No nudity, no explicit descriptions. Product photos only.
  • We don’t give medical advice. If you have a health question, please talk to a doctor or another qualified clinician.
  • We don’t sell rankings. Brands can’t pay to appear on Inneora or to change what we write.

Who runs Inneora

Inneora is written and edited by Rowan Ellis. Rowan Ellis is a pen name. Our Editorial Policy explains why we use one and how we keep ourselves accountable without it.

How we make money
